I had high hopes for these Lounge Shorts, and so happy that they have exceeded my expectations. They are very comfortable, and they wash wonderfully. Highly recommend. I ordered more after I tried the first pair.

Perfect sleep-shorts!

These are great shorts for any reason but I like to sleep in shorts. It’s almost impossible to find good cotton shorts to sleep in without elastic or without costing a million dollars. These are extremely high quality, SO comfortable, and do not wear out. Truly irreplaceable sleep-short for me, you just can’t do better. I am 5’7 and thin but I like these a bit roomier for sleep so I get a size 7 and they are perfect! Not baggy, but luxurious and just the right roominess. I seriously think cottonique is just one of the absolute best clothing manufacturers of all time and hope their impeccable quality and strict standards never, ever change. Their stuff makes life better and easier.

Lounge Shorts / Size 8/9 too large and size 6/7 too small

I have to try and shrink the size 8/9 shorts as they are too large for me. I ordered the size 6/7 and they are too small for me. Also the tie on the shorts makes my waist look larger than it is. Undoing the tie is difficult when you have "urge incontinence" Therefore sometime the urine comes out before I get on the toilet.

Hello Peree! Since our products are 100% organic cotton, sizes fit differently compared to "regular items with stretch". Our sizes would depend on your actual measurements. You may be wearing a specific size using a regular product but it may not be the same if you wear a Cottonique item due to limitations in elasticity. This is why we recommend that our customers get their measurements in inches (hip size &/or waist for women's bottoms), refer to our size guide for the available sizes, and also to order a size larger to allow for 5% shrinkage.
Though some order according to their size if they want it fit/snug, but others order a size larger from their actual measurement if they'd want it a bit loose.

The L/XL has 29-34" around the waist.
XL/2XL has 35-40".
