I have purchased dozens of Cottonique items over the years. You just never know what you're going to get or whether the product will fit. But I lucked out with these shorts, as they fit me perfectly and are exactly what I wanted and needed.
I happen to be 6'2" tall, so these oddly long shorts fit. And the material is soft and comfortable. Like others have said, the tie string is rather thick, but it's strong and will last.
To clarify something I said above, when you buy a clothing item from Cottonique you just never know if it's oddly cut or what. For example, the odd neck on the men's thermal long sleeve shirt. Where do they get their designs from? So strange imo.
Anyway, since I am sensitive to most fabrics, I will continue buying Cottonique and have to choose from their limited selections. I wish they'd try "normal" cuts rather than their odd cuts, but I appreciate the cotton. It's sort of the same as eating for health rather than taste. I bought 3 pairs of these shorts and again, I lucked out, as they fit and feel nice.
Btw I machine wash on gentle and line dry. Never dry any Cottonique item in the dryer or they'll shrink substantially.
