Lightweight Latex-Free 100% Organic Cotton Crew Socks (2pairs/pack)

My socks just arrived. I’ve never ordered anything from Cottonique and everything went smoothly. They are very big for me in the foot, but comfortably fit my larger calf. I was looking for a thin sock that is breathable for use during the night because the chemotherapy induced neuropathy below my knees makes my skin very sensitive to the feel of the bedding. I wanted a 100% cotton as I get warm at night. I think these will work well.

The package says "Allergy-Free Apparel", but when I opened the package, I could smell perfume. We don't use scents in our house, and the smell was still there after hours sitting out of the package. The socks were clearly scented.

Perfumes are a well-known allergen and irritant, especially for people with other hypersensitivities, which includes my wife and me. I don't understand why Cottonique would use a perfume on these "allergen-free" socks. I strongly recommend either discontinuing the use of perfumes, or advertising it on the product page.

I was able to get rid of the scent by washing the socks first with laundry detergent and a cup of white vinegar.

The socks themselves are fine. Reasonably comfortable and lightweight. They allow me to avoid textile dyes and synthetic fabrics while I figure out a skin allergy. Despite not having elastic, they don't just fall down right away. They held their shape and size after washing and drying in a dryer. I wear a US 10.5 shoe, and the large socks fit me well.

I wear a size 8 1/2 - 9 shoe and according to the Size Guide I would wear a large sock, but it is way too big. It won't stay up on my leg either. I'd like to try a medium to see if they would work.

Nicely ribbed, good fit in the foot and nicely loose on the leg.

Love these socks. Great quality and I find safety in knowing it has no plastic or added chemicals. I mostly wear them at night since as you wear them they do tend to slouch, but stay on. They reshape when washing and air dried, I may try a smaller size for my next purchase to see if that may help the slouching,

Finally no itchy skin, the socks do stretch out very easily.

Perfect Socks, 100% Organic. With great stretch and breathability, what more could you ask for? I am definitely returning for more!

It is hard to find 100% cotton socks without elastic. These socks are non-irritating and very comfortable.

I purchased several pairs of the cotton socks. I opened one pair when they arrived and discovered they are too small in the calf before even trying them on and I had ordered a large. I have been trying to call the customer service line, I have yet to reach anything but a recording. I was trying to get information on returning these. It has now been 3 weeks.

i have a problem with the material in clothing, especially the two girls,
poly and ester. ha ha?

These socks are perfect if you have a latex allergy. I would suggest buying one size longer than normal. They do shrink, even in cold water and cool dry settings.

Good as they always have been. I did order a larger size which helped a bunch.

Love the cotton and that there is no elastic. My only issue is that a medium is too small and a large is too big…so I get the large. The ONLY place to buy truly elastic free socks that I can find!
